The East Cottingwith Outdoor Play Association (ECOPA) opened the village play area in 2012 and it has, for three years now, been an established, integral and much loved (and much used) asset for the children and families of East Cottingwith and Storwood.
ECOPA had as its main aim the ambition to build a safe, exciting and attractive play area for the children and families of East Cottingwith and Storwood. In addition to this though ECOPA has organised a number of events including two planting days, a networking evening to attract and encourage new members, Le Petit Tour which celebrated The Tour de France and ECOPA has hosted the village Harvest Supper.
